Shireen and Florian

Shireen and Florian and their 2 daughters, Franziska and Sophia, symbolise the dynamic blend of styles, which you will find in the guesthouse.

Florian is Swiss but grew up in Germany and Shireen is South African of Indian descent. They have brought a unique style to their business which perfectly combines their very diverse cultures. This combination of classic and contemporary style is a true representation of modern South African society.

Florian has been successfully involved in the restaurant and hospitality industry both in Cape Town and Germany. He has recently sold his catering company which was based at the Cape town Ritz Hotel and decided to combine his extensive experience to operating his new venture.

Shireen is a qualified History and English teacher who has been assisting Florian in the operating of his restaurants both in administrative work and the overall daily operations.
They chose Kalk Bay for their business due to its uniqueness.
