Farr Out B&B

The short drive from Paternoster to Farr Out is not exactly what you'd call far. But when you arrive in this bushveld wilderness, you will feel pleasingly remote.

As you crunch up the glinting shell pathway, you look over an indigenous garden and right out to the ocean. Earlier risers may catch some of the wildlife that comes by when it thinks no-one's looking.

If you feel like some wind your hair, you're welcome to join Deon on a beach buggy excursion overlooking the dunes. How about a braai in a Wigwam (tepee)?

The more rainy days are also covered, we have a host of board games, including a much-loved thirty-year-old edition of German Monopoly.

Whatever you do, make sure you get a chance to spend a few minutes in the garden basket-chair before you leave. Specially imported from Germany, it shelters brilliantly from the wind and allows you to sit in peace, looking out over the dunes for an hour or ten.

Policy on children staying with parents:
- Children younger than two stay free of charge (we have a highchair and a baby cot available at no extra cost).

- Children three years and older may share with their parents at a cost of R150 per child. We can provide them with an air mattress.

Cancellation Policy:
- Seven days or less before start of rental: 100% of total rental cost

- 14 days to eight days before start of rental: 50% of total rental cost

- 21 days to 15 days before start of rental: 25% of total rental cost

- 22 days or more before start of rental: Cancellation charge of R 100
