Nine Flowers

The ground on which Nine Flowers Guest House stands today was historically farm land, and dates from the very earliest settlement at the Cape by Jan van Riebeeck. Buildings however where erected only much later, and today's Nine Flowers Guest House is representative of British colonial residential architecture of the late nineteenth century. [Read more] Originally built in 1881, the two adjacent Victorian houses had been insensitively modified, and it took more than a year to authentically restore and convert them into Nine Flowers Guest House. The old court yard, which had been built over, was once again opened up to bring sun into the lounge and breakfast room, and the rooms were equipped with modern en-suite bath rooms. The combination of old and new creates a beautiful ambiance, and adds to the well being of our guests. Stay with friends!
